STUD SERVICE CONTRACT
Thank you for expressing an interest in using______________________________________________ in
your breeding program. Enclosed you will find a copy of his pedigree and our policies concerning stud
services to outside bitches. Before a commitment for breeding is made please consider the following. Prior
to a breeding agreement, we require from you:
1. A photocopy of your bitch's AKC registration.
2. A legible 3 generation pedigree.
3. A photocopy of your bitch's HEALTH TESTING.
4. Recent photograph of the bitch.
Following an agreement to breed, it is required that you:
1. Provide a veterinary certificate of a negative Brucella titer, negative aerobic vaginal culture taken with
guarded culture instrument, and a negative mycoplasma culture, dated no more than 30 days before the
mating. We will need a photocopy of all lab reports.
2. Pay all transportation costs for the bitch. Airport pick-up and delivery fees to ____________ as

3. Pay all veterinary costs, at the time of service, while the bitch is in our care.
4. Pay all expenses if using fresh chilled semen including collection kits, semen collection, shipping
charges, etc.

6. Names and addresses of all prospective puppy owners.
7. Agree that puppies resulting from this breeding shall not knowingly be sold either directly, or to an agent
thereof, who sells outright or consigns to a pet shop, kennel, or individual whose purpose is mass
production, wholesaling, or retailing of purebred dogs.
Prior to an agreement to breed, our responsibilities to you are as follows:
1. To provide a photocopy of our stud's AKC registration.
2. To provide a photocopy of our stud's health testing or if optigen A by parentage and patellars vet
checked.
3. A 3 generation pedigree.
All proposed bitches must meet the following criteria:
1. The bitch must be in good physical condition. She must be free of fleas and ticks and have had a bath
before she arrives.
2. The bitch must have a stable temperament.
3. The bitch must have proper dentition. We will not breed any bitch that is under or overshot or has three
or more missing teeth.
STUD SERVICE POLICY

NOTE: The American Kennel Club takes the position that the owner of the sire is required to sign an

signed by all parties concerned in which it is specifically set forth that the owner of the sire is not obligated
to sign an American Kennel Club litter registration application form until such time as the stud fee has

2. Two or more live puppies, seven days old, constitutes a litter.
3. If a breeding does not occur, either naturally or artificially, the owner of the stud dog will return the stud
fee. In this case, a five dollar per day board charge will apply.
4. If the bitch does not whelp two or more live puppies, the stud dog owner will return the half stud fee
minus any monies owed for transport, vet, testing, or boarding etc. or give to the owner a certificate for a
free stud service with the same male or if he is not available at the time of next heat, then an equal quality
male will be used.

departure from C-more only if the parental test on either dam or sire is a carrier.

on cost to exhibit said dog, C-more will pay total of cost of said puppy and
exhibitors total cost to promote a champion title. If this dog is sold, this contract
is rendered null and void to the new owner.
9. C-more reserves the right to reclaim this dog at any time for any of the
following reasons:
a.) Poor care of the pup/dog's physical health and/ or
b.) Improper fencing/chaining/caging the dog or physical brutality to the dog
and/or
c.) It is realized the offspring of this dog are being sold in a retail store, puppy
mill, or auction. If it should become necessary to reclaim this dog for any reason,
there will be no compensation to the Buyer and all registration papers and rights
of ownership will be released by the Buyer to the Seller.
10. If either party is forced to take legal action to enforce any part of this
contract, action shall be initiated in Sevier County, Tennessee, and any legal fees
and court costs shall be the responsibility of the party found to be in default.

No money will be given back under any circumstances. All vet
papers and AKC papers must be returned with said puppy at that
time. All vet expenses are that of the buyer. I, the seller, will not
reimburse for travel expenses, vet cost, nor any other monetary
spending accrued from the purchase of said puppy.
I, the breeder warrant this puppy to be free from all/any birth defects
at the time of sale. This puppy will have been seen by a certified vet
and will have had a full vet physical, de wormed, heartworm
prevention started, current on vaccines and be free from all
parasites to the best of my control. This puppy will have had de
wormings done at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks of age or up to the time
the puppy leaves my possession. I cannot warrant what the puppy
may come into contact with once it leaves my possession.
The buyer warrants that this puppy will not be sold to another party
without notifying the seller first. Giving the seller the first option to
take the puppy back. The puppy shall never be taken to an animal
shelter!
The buyer will keep the puppy current on vaccines, see a certified
vet for a physical at least once a year.
The buyer will keep said puppy on a heartworm preventative, flea
control, and have it groomed every 6-8 weeks as necessary to keep
the puppy comfortable with the changing seasons.
The buyer agrees that the said puppy must be an inside dog only,
never to be left outside. Poodles are people dogs and must be with
their humans.
If either party is forced to take legal action to enforce any part of
this contract, action shall be initiated in Sevier County, Tennessee,
and any legal fees and court costs shall be the responsibility of the
party found to be in default.
